The area is very suitable for this mountain sport.

In both Canyoning and Speleology (spelunking), you make your way through a river in a gorge through waterfalls, sliding, walking, rappelling, jumping and swimming. In caving, the river is underground, in caves.

Canyoning:

Our first canyoning experience was this: Barranco del Navedo
The children were almost 9 years old at the time. We’ve been fans ever since. It is a nice scenic route through the La Hermida gorge, with many natural slides, jumps of less than 3 meters (depending on the height of the water) and at the end there is an optional 7-8 meter jump for enthusiasts. That makes it fun for different ages/levels. You can also choose between 2 routes. You walk to the starting point in about 20 minutes. The descent itself lasts about 2 hours.
You will receive a guide and the necessary equipment. Search the finca app for more information.

Caving / Canyoning in caves (spelunking):

Do you like canyoning and want something different? If you don’t suffer from claustrophobia, this is a lot of fun!
Canyoning, but then underground through the river in the caves. More information in the application of La Finca Roja.

However, many of the activities can now be booked through this link, even if you are not staying at the finca:

Caving without getting wet:

Are you more interested in discovering the caves themselves? And without getting wet better? That’s also possible!

With your reservation at La Finca Roja, you will receive access to the finca’s app. In this app you will not only find all the information about your accommodation, but also about places of interest and activities in the town and the region. This way you can prepare your trip on time, plan activities, rent equipment and possibly book guides or study topos. This app also contains advice on the contents of your backpack, which boots are suitable and, for example, exercises to prepare for your trip.
