Sleeping at la finca roja

The property was renovated in 2020 and has the feel of a renovated country house, with wooden floors in the bedroom. In the living room and kitchen, wooden beams and wooden doors with rustic stone on the floors and walls. And of course fully equipped.

Sleeping | All bedrooms have a double bed or 2 single beds.
The sofa in the living room is a double sofa bed (140cm wide). There is also a folding bed available if you prefer an extra bed in a bedroom.

Bedding is included so you don’t have to bring it. You will surely sleep well under the cool white satin bedding, both in summer and winter. Fair trade and g.o.t.s. certified organic cotton.

You can request a camping cot for children up to 3 years old at no additional cost.

CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAYS IN A GOOD ENVIRONMENT | The living room of the holiday homes consists of an open kitchen and a living and dining room. A comfortable sofa and chairs around the stove (only in Apt 2 and the Chalet) and television.

In autumn and winter you can turn on the central heating (Apt 1 and 2) or enjoy the pellet stove with sufficient stock (ecological pellets and much fewer emissions than a normal fireplace).

The dining table offers space for 4 people in Apt 1, 6 people in Apt 2 and 8 people in the Chalet and a high chair is available (if desired). You will find all kinds of books and some games at the finca.

The bathroom of your holiday home:

SHOWER | The bathroom in your vacation home has a shower, a double sink and a floating toilet. Towels are included (and G.O.T.S certified organic cotton). There is a hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel and hand soap.

Enjoy cooking during your vacation:

COOKING | The kitchen is fully equipped and has an oven, microwave/grill, induction stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. Also present: mixer, cake pan, abundant saucepans, crockery, cutlery, etc.

And of course you can use the outdoor barbecue.

Television, movies, internet, music in your vacation home:

INTERNET, IMAGE AND SOUND | You can use the WIFI in and around the property. There’s no problem working from your vacation spot and/or staying in touch with family and friends. Or just visiting websites of places of interest in the area or simply browsing a little on the sofa or on the terrace. There is a wide range of TV channels to watch in Spanish, but you can also watch Netflix through the flat screen TV (Apt 2 and Chalet). Take your own login details. No radio present. If you bring your speaker, you can use Spotify over WiFi. Be mindful of other guests.

info | Upon your reservation you receive access to the digital guide. You can use it as an App for information about your accommodation, the facilities on the premises and the village.

Activities around the finca:

Picos de Europe | In the app you will find information about all types of activities in the mountains. The Picos de Euopa is a large natural reserve where you can practice hiking, climbing, horseback riding, mountain biking, paragliding, trekking, canyoning, caving, and snowshoeing. And, of course, we also give you tips for good restaurants, festive activities in the village, a visit to, for example, the cheese factory and other cultural outings.

Read and play on the farm:

TOYS | On the farm there are several board games, some children’s toys and books for young and old, and Donald Ducks.

WASH AND DRY | The property has a separate laundry room with a washing machine, dryer, ironing board and iron. In principle, this space is closed, but you can use it while not obstructing Angelica’s work. In the shed next door you will find cleaning supplies that you can always use.
